             abstract = "The climatic zoning of coffee is of extreme importance for both 
                         implantation and planning of agricultural activity. Thus, the 
                         objective of this study was to carry out agroclimatic zoning for 
                         coffee conilon for the state of Esp{\'{\i}}rito Santo. The 
                         methodology consisted in the calculation of the climatological 
                         water balance for the average monthly values of temperature and 
                         precipitation of the state. The meteorological stations located in 
                         the state were used, as well as in the adjacent states: Rio de 
                         Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Bahia. The climatic requirements of 
                         coffee species presented in this study were Coffea canephora. For 
                         the spatialization of the precipitation and water deficit 
                         variables, data interpolation using the linear kriging technique 
                         was used, and the agroclimatic zoning maps were developed by 
                         combining the maps of annual mean temperature and annual water 
                         deficiency slices software ArcGIS 10.3. Due to the irrigation of 
                         the conilon coffee crop, practically the largest territorial area 
                         of the state of Esp{\'{\i}}rito Santo was suitable for the 
                         implantation of this agricultural culture. The state of 
                         Esp{\'{\i}}rito Santo has areas unfit for conilon coffee 
                         implantation only by thermal restraint factor and not by water 
                         deficiency. The limiting parameter for implantation of conilon 
                         coffee in the state of Esp{\'{\i}}rito Santo was the 
                         temperature.",
